Birmingham MCM Memorabilia Show

Well, as you may have known, it was the MCM Memorabilia Show at the NEC in Birmingham last month and I have to say...it was epic!
This time around it was stretched across two rooms, rather than the usual one, but the stalls weren't just more spread out, there were actually enough stalls to fill the two rooms. The stalls had some amazing stuff on too! Lots of unusual items and hard-to-find trinkets; of course though, there were the usual boat-loads of Star Wars and other big franchise toys / collectables but overall a great mix between scifi and anime collections there this yeah.

I got a few photos from the expo, sorry that a couple of blurry, had to move fast:

I had to get a few pics in with the really good costumers!

Couldn't get one with Darth Vader as everyone was crowding him even though they were just looking. Let this be a lesson, if you aren't taking pictures / having a picture taken, have some courtesy and move out the way so others can!

This was my final loots! I have, since then, began a collection of figurines and such; which can be viewed on my Facebook (link at the bottom of the page).
That is, by the way, the new MG Duel Gundam which came out this year. I will do a review of this one once I come around to doing it. At the moment I am still building the RX-78-2 OYW Gundam; which I have nearly finished and will review once I have.

Well there wasn't too much to say, just to show, this time. The expo was awesome! I cannot wait until the next one, which is in November for Birmingham. You really had to be there to see what it was like and the feel of the whole event. It was electric though and very exciting.

Thanks for reading and feel free to comment.

Telford MCM Comic Con Expo

Hey all! This is an update about the Telford MCM Expo which was at Telford on the 18th February 2012.
This year had a really awesome turn out; it seemed over twice as many people camne this year compared to previous years and the amount of cosplayers was immense for such a little show.
Hopefully this will encourage more show like this in the Shropshire area of England but maybe even in other parts of the UK and further.

The stalls were really varied and there was a lot of merchandise which isn't easy to find or at least not cheaply. If I had had more money with me I would have seriously spent a lot more there!
Of course there were guests, whom of which were:
  • Tom Hopper and Adetomiwa Edun, from "Merlin"
  • Warrick Davis, from "Harry Potter"
  • Hironobu Sakaguchi, creator of the "Final Fantasy" series.
These we all really great guest for such a small convention and if anyone who went there is reading this, I hope you had a great time. I know I did!
What i did buy however was a signed picture from Warrick Davis and I was cheeky enough to ask for a photo, in which he obliged.

I also took a couple short videos of the show, the amount of people, some of the stalls etc. I hope you enjoy!

Also here is the picture I had signed by Warrick Davis and the picture he let me take with him:
