Star Wars The Old Republic

Well, any NERD worth their salt knows about this and probably has for some time. OF COURSE I ordered the special edition for £130 and I HAVE been playing my tight bumhole off on the early access.

All I can say is this:
  • For a game which has just been made from the ground up it has very LITTLE bugs.
  • It doesn't get bad lag very often AT ALL.
  • It's already SUPER popular because the severs are filling up fast and it's not even out technically.
  • It's fecking awesomecake on a shit-hot-trifle filled with cream of badassery!
And here's some pics of the Special edition box artwork:

Then on opening the box you see this:
Which contains:
  • Game Authenticator.
  • The Old Republic galaxy map.
  • Music of Star Wars: The Old Republic CD.
  • Steel tin box for the 3 disc set game installation:

  • The Journal of Master Gnost-Dural:

  • Which has some fantastic art like this:

And finally, my favourite part of this Collector's Edition, Darth Malgus - Gentle Giants figurine:

The digital extras with the Collector's Edition are:
  • Flare Gun: Fire flares into the air
  • Training Droid: Hovers at your side for combat assistance
  • HoloDancer: Project your own holographic dancer
  • HoloCam: Keep visual records of in-game adventures
  • STAP: Sleek and unique in-game vehicle
  • Exclusive Mouse Droid: Spunky Droid to join your adventures
  • Exclusive Collector's Edition Store: Unique in-game vendor with an assortment of items
This is really excellent quality. Made from Resin this statue weighs a fair bit and most of that weight comes from the solid bas it's on. Don't expect this base to move / fall anytime soon!

Well I hope you've enjoyed this post and thank you for reading. Please leave me a comment and tell me what you think about this Collector's Edition or the game itself.

P.S. Here's a little ingame picture to wet your whistle:

May the Force be with you!

Made a video of some Elder Scrolls V: SKYRIM death animations. Sorry about the porr quality in places! A mix of my iPhone and my digital camera but both don't like recording off the TV.
I hope you like it anyways :)

Here's a couple pictures as well :)

Does this hat go with my outfit? ;)

Monday 28 November 2011

Recently I went to the MCM Memorabilia Show at the Birmingham NEC, on the 19th of Norvember.
I met a friendly walking-carpet there :) (not Peter Mayhew sadly) but I still LOVE this photo:

I also got to see some VERY detailed Star Wars models, which I thought were really kool! Here are some pictures of what I saw (sorry about the picture quality, they were taken on my iPhone):

I hope you enjoyed looking at these pictures as much as I enjoyed seeing them up close. It was pretty packed up there so I didn't get to look at them for long but the detail in these models is just amazing!

Here's a few pictures I found from previous Expos as well:

I hope you enjoyed this post!
Feel free to leave any comments :)
